Option Box protected errror
 

I have option boxes from the "Forms" toolbar. On the sheet there are some
cells with formulas I would like protected. When I protect the sheet a
couple of things go wrong:

1. Everytime I click an option box the cell protected box pops up. I have
tried unlocking the cells the traditional way, as well as unlocking the
option box Format control. This problem persists.

2. The option box groupings misfunction. Usually I can only select one in
a group at a time. Once protected several can be selected and some
selections cause other option box to change with them.

Neither of these problems occur when the sheet is unprotected.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
