Hi - new user. I've seen other people scroll over a group of cells and have
it quickly sum for them in the lower right corner without putting any formulas into specific cells. Is this a feature that i need to "turn on"? Thanks. |

Tammy,
Right click the 'Status bar', that's the bar below the sheet tabs and you will see the functions available. Select 'Sum' select your range and the sum is in the status bar. Make sure the Status Bar is visible under ViewStatus Bar
Then right-click on the bar and select Sum. Select the range of cells. Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Thu, 11 Sep 2008 12:03:01 -0700, Tammy wrote: Hi - new user.
