2007 Excel.

Column A down
i have dates..
How can i get the most recent date automatialy highlighted?

Conditional Formating?
 

Assuming real dates in A1 down,
In xl2003, these steps would do it:
Select col A (ie A1 active)
then apply conditional formatting using Formula Is:
=AND(A1<"",A1=MAX(A:A))
Format to taste, ok out

Maybe you could try a similar play in your xl2007 ..

I tried with =D1=MAX($D$1:$D$55) and it worked for me (Excel 2003)

Then the whole column will be highlighted... I prefer that to supressing it
with testing for blank...
