Say I have these set of lists in different cells.

After a user has selected data from each cell, he clicks on a link to check
whether or not all selected data are correct. Excel prompts a message for
this.

It's like answering a Matching Type Quiz.

Is it a quiz? Because I don't see how Excel is going to know what is
correct if the user doesn't. Unless it is a preprogrammed set of
questions, like a quiz. Or there's a calculation involved.

But assuming the spreadsheet has the answer... You could simply put a
message in a nearby cell and use conditional formatting to only show
the text if it is correct. Or if it is wrong, whichever works for you.
I've done this before by setting font color to white, then
conditionally changing it to something else.

Or I'm sure someone capable could come up with a VBA program.
