Formula copies when only answer is wanted

Excel 2003, When I copy a group of cells with a formulas in them. The
formulas copy and try to adjust to match what they were before. I only want
the sum of that solution to be copied. What am I missing?

Formula copies when only answer is wanted

If you want to copy the resulting values, rather than the formulae, use
Copy, then select the destination and use Edit/ Paste Special/ Values.
