how do i make a column for time read as a 24 hour entry.Example (time)column
in this column i want to type time but in the 24 hour format and have it stay
there in the column

So what's your problem? If I type 14:00 in a cell that's what I see.
If you mean what is seen in the formula bar then you need to change the
regional settings of
your OS to 24 hour HH:mm
