Save a cells selection as a set, group, or block
I am not aware of a way to save selection sets. I find that I have to change
formatting repeatedly for sets of selected cells. It would really help to have the capacity to save selection sets with a custom name, etc. The styles feature in excel is helpful but can't be used for referencing, drag and drop operations, etc. Sure would be nice to see a pane of saved selection sets where a check box or the like could be used to insert the selection set at the function line for a formula or a command button that would add, subtract from the current selection of active cells. |

Select a set of cells, contiguous or non-contiguous. InsertNameDefine...........give it a name and OK your way out. Do this for each set of cells. Then click in the nameox and select whatever name you want for your operation.
