Excel Automatic Date Insert
 

I am using an excel purchase order template. Each time I open a purchase
order, the template changes the original date to the current date. How do I
turn this feature off, so my po's have the actual po date?

It must be a cell with a formula of =TODAY() or =NOW()

Change the formula to the date, use Ctrl-;
