Make a cell display the contents of a shape
I finally found out (thanks to all you helpful folks!) how to get a drawing
object or text box to display the contents of a cell. Now, I need the opposite... I need a cell to display the text that I type into a drawing object. I don't think using a text box will work for me, it really must be a drawing object. For instance... I draw 3 shapes (circle, rectangle etc) in worksheet 1 and type "Honda Civic" in one, "Chevy Malibu" in another and "Toyota Prius" in the third. I would like the names of the cars to show up in cells A1 thru A3 on worksheet 2. I know I could just type them in the cells and have them show up in the shapes, but I must have this work the other way around - have the shape data display in a cell. Thanks!! JB |
