SUMIF and SUMIFS
I have 2 workbooks (source.xlsx and destin.xlsx), each with multiple
worksheets. In [destin.xlsx]sheet7!m4 I have this formula: sumifs('[source.xlsx]sheet10!$g:$g,'[source.xlsx]sheet10!$c:$c,"=2",'[source.xlsx]sheet10!$e:$e,"=1"). It gives the correct result in sheet7 and any cell it's copied into on sheet7. It will also give the correct result when copied into some (not all) of the other worksheets in the [destin.xlsx] file. On other worksheets, the result is always 0. This is also true of the SUMIF formula. Also, I just tried entering the formula directly on the worksheets and the ones that were resulting in zero using copy are still producing zero. I recently was given the destin.xls file and its original author is no longer available for questioning. It appears that the worksheets that accept the formula might have been created after our switch to Excel 2007. Sorry to ramble on, but I don't know if I have a formula problem, an option on the offending worksheets that needs to be tweaked, or just a conflict between Excel 2007 and earlier Excel versions that there may or may not be a fix for. Any suggestions? Thanks for reading and in any help will be greatly appreciated. |
