return 4 lots of data when a corresponding number is entered
I am attempting to retrieve 4 different answers when a postcode(zipcode) is
entered into a cell, data is stored in a 2nd worksheet within 5 columns, when the number in column 1 is entered into the active cell on the 1st worksheet I want to have the data from columns 2-5 from 2nd sheet show in 4 different cells on 1st sheet. |

With your postcode entered into A1 on Sheet1, put this formula in B1:
=VLOOKUP($A1,Sheet2!$A:$E,COLUMN(B1),0) Then copy this formula into C1:E1. Hope this helps. Thanks Pete, it worked just as I had wanted, I just had to change a few cell
refrences but it worked a treat, your help is very appreciated :) Scott "Pete_UK" wrote: With your postcode entered into A1 on Sheet1, put this formula in B1: =VLOOKUP($A1,Sheet2!$A:$E,COLUMN(B1),0) Then copy this formula into C1:E1.
