How can I filter just 2 columns (separated by another column)?

Hi. Does anyone know how to filter just two columns?

For example, I want to filter column B and column D only. No other columns.

Thoughts?
TIA

If your data is in columns A through D, but you only want B & D filtered, are
you saying that you still want all the data in A & C visible? You realize
that the data in the rows would no longer 'match up'.

When you filter on any column, rows from all columns are hidden.
