Drop down lists to transfer data between worksheets
I have one sheet with a list of countries and multiple data columns.
On a second sheet I have a graph to show this data for one selected country. How can I insert a drop down list of the countries on the second sheet and also transfer selected data for drawing on the graph? At present I copy and paste the data. -- Patrick Johnstone, UK |

Hello Patrick
Using Data Validation, you can quite easily create the dropdown list. For detailed instructions, see he http://www.contextures.com/xlDataVal01.html To retrieve the data from the first sheet, a VLOOKUP function will suffice. -- Wigi http://www.wimgielis.be = Excel/VBA, soccer and music "patrickj" wrote: I have one sheet with a list of countries and multiple data columns.
