WORKDAY() results appear to be inconsistent...
The WORKDAY() function uses the following arguments... - Start_date - Days = the number of non-weekend and non-holiday days BEFORE or AFTER the start_date I'm experiencing results that do not appear to be consistent. Have a look at the file posted at http://dplum.com/excel/Project-Workdays.xls WORKDAY() seems to drop any decimal portion of the argument for "Days" and then adds 1 day... am I interpreting the results correctly? Since the "Days" argument asks for the # of days BEFORE or AFTER the Start_date then it would appear that the Start_date itself is not to be included in the Days argument -- is this correct? Also, why would the decimal value for the "Days" argument be ignored? Does this also have to be compensated for in assigning the value for this argument? |
