If that is in A1, then put this formula in B1:

=PROPER(A1)

Select B1 again and <copy it, then Edit | Paste Special | Values
(check) | OK then <Enter. Then just <copy <paste it over the
original, and delete B1.

(Not quite as easy as Word !!)

Hope this helps.

If you have a larger data set you might want to use a macro

Sub PropCase()
Application.DisplayAlerts = False
Dim R As Range
For Each R In Selection.Cells
If R.HasFormula Then
R.Formula = "=PROPER(" & Mid(R.Formula, 2) & ")"
Else
R.Value = Application.Proper(R.Value)
End If
Next
Application.DisplayAlerts = True
End Sub
