=If(A1:D1="Pass","Y","N")
How do I say this?
to explain it better, I want to use more than 2 arguments in the EXACT function. If all are same then Y if even one of them is different then N. Any help is appreciated. Regards |

=If(A1:D1="Pass","Y","N")
Try it this way:
=IF(COUNTIF(A1:D1,"Pass")=4,"Y","N") Checks to see if all the cells in A1:D1 are set to "Pass", if so returns "Y". Hope this helps. Regards Try this formula It is an array formula that has to be confirmed by CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER rather than just ENTER =IF(AND(A1:D1="Pass"),"Yes","No") Hope this helps / Lars-Åke |
