whats the formula
i created a data sheet collecting data of of permits. i set up the sheet
where i just entered Y for yes, or N for no. i'm trying to find out if there's a formula for finding out the percentage of out of 2000 y's and n's there are this many y's... and same n's also... |

=COUNTIF(A1:A2000,"y")/COUNTA(A1:A2000)
Will give the percentage of "y"s in the column.
