pivot tables
How do I set up a pivot table across multiple pages of
data? My lines of data total over 70000 and therefore are contained on multiple worksheets. I was able to get the pivot table set up to pull in both worksheets but wasn't able to change the columns or veiw the detail. Thanks. |
When you go to data-pivot table
you get choices one of which is "Multiple Consolidation ranges" Use this choice and you will be able to add multiple ranges into your pivot table "marilin" wrote in message ... You can create a Pivot Table from multiple consolidation ranges, but you
won't get the same pivot table layout that you'd get from a single range. There's an example he http://www.contextures.com/xlPivot08.html If possible, store your data in a database, perhaps using MS Access, and you'll have more flexibility in creating the pivot table. marilin wrote: How do I set up a pivot table across multiple pages of data?
