Excel 2007 nested function
I can't figure out how to use the Insert Function dialog to create nested
functions in 2007. This is something you could do in earlier versions though it often wsasn't paricularily obvious. |
Excel 2007 nested function
Hi David,
The insert function can be found when you mouse over just to the left of the formula bar - over the "fx", the Insert Function will display - you can left click on the "fx" and the Insert Function dialog box displays. From the help menu - look for "Watch this: Find Help for Excel functions", is a short video on how to use the dialog box. Thanks, Peggy "David Price" wrote: I can't figure out how to use the Insert Function dialog to create nested functions in 2007. Thanks for your reply but i know how to find Insert Function what i wanted to do was insert one function inside another by using Insert Function. As it happens i've now figured it out - when in Insert Function, click the down arrow that normally gives you a list of defined names and then choose More Functions. "pshepard" wrote in message ...
