Can you use conditional formatting within pivot tables? I am trying to
identify balances that exceed certain dollar values or percentages for variance analysis. |

exactly like CF for non-Pivot-Table-data. Pivot Tables & Conditional Formatting
In Excel 2007, you can apply conditional formatting to sections of the
pivot table and it will move if you chang the pivot table layout. In earlier versions of Excel, you will have to reapply the conditional formatting if you change the layout.
