Excel-tab, spacebar etc seemed to be locked-can't repeat key stro
 

In excel spreadsheet, the tab, spacebar, backspace tab and arrow keys won't
let me hit the key more than once. For example, when I am through typing a
number in the cell and I want to go over 4 cells, it only allows me to go up,
down or over one cell, to move further, I have to use the mouse and move the
cursor. May be it's not just in excel because as I type this message, the
keyboard won't allow me to type double letters, like message, it only typed
one "s" and then I had to replace my cursor next to the first s in order to
type the second one. Help! To make matters worse I am working on my Boss's
computer and if I open the same spread sheet on my computer, it works
perfectly.
