Date Formula
Trying to figure out the formula for the date in an amorization schedule.
Such as: 6/1/2008 then 7/1/2008 Any help is appreciated. Thanks. |
Date Formula
You could put the first date in A1 (say) and use this formula in B1:
=date(year(a1),month(a1)+1,1) to get the first day of the next month. Lynn H. wrote: Trying to figure out the formula for the date in an amorization schedule. Such as: 6/1/2008 then 7/1/2008 Any help is appreciated. Thanks. -- Dave Peterson |
Date Formula
If the first date is in cell A2 and you know it's the 1st day of a month,
then =A2+32-day(A2+31) should get you the 1st day of the next month. If you put that formula in cell A3, you could just autofill down. "Lynn H." wrote: Trying to figure out the formula for the date in an amorization schedule. Such as: 6/1/2008 then 7/1/2008 Any help is appreciated. Thanks. |
Date Formula
If 6/1/2008 is in A1, enter the following in A2: =EOMONTH(A1,0)+1 Copy it to suit the number of amortization periods. The result will always be the first of the next month.
