Conditional Formatting
I have all my student grades in a range of cells.
I have a column with their predicted grade in and a colum with their real grade in. I need to be able to set excel up to the following; 1. Check if the actual grade is below "C" grade, and check if the actual grade is two grades lower than the predicted. e.g predicted A* actual grade C. If either of these are true I need the acual grade cell to be turned red. 2. If the student has more than 2 red cells in their row, I want their name to turn red. These sound to very simple things to do but you can't get ecxel to conditional format on the basis of a cell colour and you can't have a constant, check variable and then a changing cell all in one conditional format. If anybody has any ideas please let me know ASAP. Thanks Tom |

hi tom5, how many columns, containing expected and earned grades, are you
dealing with? "Tom5" wrote: I have all my student grades in a range of cells. I have a column with their predicted grade in and a colum with their real grade in.
