Sum and "N/A"

I have a column that i am attempting to sum. However, some values are "N/A",
and my total sum is "N/A" when those values are included. Can I write a sum
formula to iglore "N/A"?

Thanks!

Sum and "N/A"

If the numbers are positive:

=SUMIF(A1:A10,"0")

Otherwise:

=SUMIF(A1:A10,"<#N/A")

You should try to clean up the N/A errors by trapping for them.

If results of say, a VLOOKUP formula you could use

=IF(ISNA(VLOOKUP(G1,$A$1:$F$31,2,FALSE)),"",VLOOKU P(G1,$A$1:$F$31,2,FALSE))

If you can't get rid of them see Biff's reply to work around them.

This will take care of all errors

=SUMIF(A1:A10,"<"&99^99)

adjust the large number to fit
