alarm on a date cell?
 

I would like to set a function up to flag me an alarm on a cell that has a
due date coming up, i.e. cell B2 has 21/01/09, I would like an alarm (pop up
or colour change?) to inform me this date is due say five days before or on
the date itself, many thanks

=$A$1=TODAY()-5

Format any color you like

thanks but when I use that it turns the color on regardless of the date being
due or not, am I doing something wrong?
