I want to show cell B43 as 17.5% of cell B42, I'm new to formulas.

VAT formula
 

=B42*17.5%

or:

=B42*0.175
--

Thank you, I used the second one but it left a % sign, I forgot you could do
it the easier way! its a lot of years since I did a spreadsheet course.
