Converting EST to PST
I would like to convert Eastern Standard Time to Pacific Standard time. In
other words, add 3 hours to a time formatted as hh:mm. I haven't had any luck even after reading all the TIME information. What am I missing? Thanks |

If the original time is Easter, you must SUBTRACT 3 hours to get Pacific, not
ADD. If the Eastern time is in A1 =A1-3/24 or =A1-1/8 On Wed, 23 Mar 2005 10:25:05 -0800, "neilalan" wrote: I would like to convert Eastern Standard Time to Pacific Standard time. Thanks Myrna.
That did it for me. Appreciate the help. Now I can program my VCR to tape the NASDAQ 100! Neil "Myrna Larson" wrote: If the original time is Easter, you must SUBTRACT 3 hours to get Pacific, not ADD. Thanks Myrna!! Not only correcting the after to before, but a formula that rocked and needed little tweaking.
