I have a column in which each cell has the option to contain one of six
different words. Based on which word is selected, I need 2 to 3 other cells in the same row to change to a yellow highlight. For example, if cell C2 contains the word flat, then I need cells H2 and I2 to become yellow. But, If cell C2 contains the word 2FC, then I2, J2 and L2 need to be yellow. -- Please let me know if this can be done - I have 6 different variables. SandyB |

If you are using Excel 2003 or earlier then you are limited to 3
conditional formats in each cell. Pete On May 27, 11:11*pm, SandyB wrote: I have a column in which each cell has the option to contain one of six different words. I'm sorry, I don't have XL2007, so I don't know the steps myself -
perhaps someone more up-to-date than I will be able to chip in.
