Can anyone provide an example address for a hyperlink originating in an EXCEL

hyperlink to a powerpoint slide
Hi,
Maybe the easiest way to do this is to open powerpoint and the presentation. Select the slide you want to hyperlink to and choose Copy. Switch to Excel, select the cell where you want the hyperlink and choose Edit, Paste Special, Hyperlink. You may need to type something into the cell because nothing appears automatically, although if you hover you will see the hyperlink. This opens powerpoint in presentation mode with the desired slide displayed. The reference looks something like File:///C:\Users\Shane\Desktop\Classes\Advanced%20Charting \Excel%20Charts.ppt#257,2,Slide 2 Cheers, Shane Devenshire Microsoft Excel MVP "Papu" wrote in message ...
