Instead of using VLOOKUP to bring back a cell value, I want to GO to that
location by double-clicking. VLINKUP would have the same sorting,
first-column requirements as VLOOKUP, and a "not found" should envoke a NOT
FOUND msgbox.

Sure, and I could also manually fetch the individual cells that VLOOKUP pulls
automatically, but I prefer VLOOKUP because it is dynamic. I want VLINKUP to
go to the cell that VLOOKUP would have pulled from. Dynamic. Data driven.
Smart. Automatic. I was hoping the VLOOKUP/VLINKUP name similarity would show
the way.

Have you looked into using the HYPERLINK formula?
