Sluggish Performance From Excel 2007?
 

Is anyone else experiencing sluggish performance when performing
everyday tasks in Excel 2007. I have both Excel 2003 and 2007
installed on my machine (2 gig processor, 2 gigs or ram) and Excel
2007 moves like cold treacle compared to 2003.

Are others seeing this or is there something wrong with my setup?

1. Make sure you have disabled/uninstalled the Google Desktop Office com
addins
(office button--Excel Option--Addins--Com Addins)

2. Update to Office 2007 SP1

3. Check that you are not using any full-column or full row references
anywhere

4. Charts and VBA are slower than 2003

5. Calculation can be faster, but swapping a workbook between versions will
trigger a full calculation which can be slow.
