how to create a formula with expiry condition
 
hi all,

Need assistance here. I need a formula to calculate the total amount expired
by month if the fund allocate did not utilize within 6 months.

e.g. Total balance amount of 330 in Apr 07 did not utilize in the 7th month
(Oct 07). Total balance amount of 240 in Aug 07 did not utlize upon reaching
Feb 08. I need the formula to calculate on this. Please advise. Thanks

Month Total Amount Used Total Expired Amount
Jan-07 240 0
Feb-07 240 0
Mar-07 240 250
Apr-07 360 0
May-07 0 0
Jun-07 0 500
Jul-07 0 0
Aug-07 240 0

Mountain:

I don't know of a formula to use but you could use a matrix where is picks
up the available amount and carries them forward. I used this for expiring
tax losses but it it gets complicated.
