Are you sure it's not increasing by 1 day + 4 years?
That behavior happens when you copy from a workbook using the 1900 date system and paste into a workbook using the 1904 date system. If it's really only one day, I've no idea... What do you mean by drag and drop, if you mean you are dragging a date using
