Comparing 2 dates and times
Hi
I have a spreadsheet with 5 columns: A = date an e-mail received B = time e-mail received on that date C = date e-mail replied to D = time e-mail replaied to on that date e-mail E = was the e-mail replied to within agreed time limit? The agreed time limit is 24 hours. I'd be happy enough coming up with a formula to input Y or N into colmun E, if I only knew how to subract a time AND date from another time and date. Can anyone advise, please? Many thanks. Keith |

Hi David
Many thanks for this, but can you tell me what format the respective columns need to be in so that this formaula will work? Cheers.
