Hi -I need to calculate the months between years.
Eg. Start month Sept 08, end month April 2015.

Use the DATEDIF function.

It doesn't have a helpfile in excel, but a good page for it he

Try this with the earlier date in a1

=DATEDIF(A1,A2,"m")
