OLAP Pivot Table returns #N/A for custom calc.
When I try to use the Running Total custom calculation within the Value Field
Settings (under the €śShow Value as€ť tab) on an OLAP Pivot Table, Excel returns #N/A. I know some of the Summary options cannot be changed for OLAP data in Pivot Tables, but the Help in Excel doesnt indicate any limitations on the data source for custom calculations. Plus, the drop down box underneath €śShow Values as€ť is enabled for OLAP pivot tables whereas the unavailable Summary functions are properly disabled. In fact, many of the other custom functions, such as €ś% of Difference,€ť do not work either. The Running Total calculation in Pivot tables based on non-OLAP data sources works as expected. Any clues or answers will be much appreciated. |
