what formula for summing if two logical statements are true?

I am trying to automatically sum numbers in a spreadsheet according to person
and project task - so what formula do I use to sum #s with if two logical
statements are true, e.g, if d16:d60 = "Kelly" and e16:e60 = "tasks 1.5"?

what formula for summing if two logical statements are true?

Hi,
Try
=IF(AND(D16:D60 = "Kelly", E16:E60 = "tasks 1.5"),SUM(YourRange),"")
Change YourRange for the cells you want to Sum.

=SUMPRODUCT(--(D16:D60="Kelly"),--(E16:E60="tasks 1.5"),SumRange)
