Matching a column of new data to existing larger data set.
I have an existing master column of part numbers. Monthly, I will bring in a
smaller column of part numbers which are a subset of the existing larger column. Can I highlight the new part numbers, then select an excel function that will match the new part numbers to the existing part numbers or is there another method? Thank you. |

You can use the MATCH function - described in Excel Help. Not sure
what else you want to do, but there may be more appropriate functions to use. Hope this helps. Pete On Apr 21, 4:02*pm, Sirjay wrote: I have an existing master column of part numbers.
