Spelling and text boxes in Excel 2007
 

Looked everywhere for these issues! : -

1 Spell checker checks all text boxes on the sheet, no matter if I have only
one selected or even if I select the text within the box I wish to check.

2 The short cut ctrl+; that used to insert the date within a text box under
2003, now will not and there doesn't seem to be another way of doing this.

3 A click and drag method of selecting objects no longer appears to be
functional in Excel. How are you to select 100 objects on a sheet?

4 When spell checking does work, why on earth doesn't it highlight the
incorrect words? It's a real pain to have to search for them!

Any help with these frustrating problems would be gratefully appreciated.
