How do I use count, sum, or avg formulas on autofiltered results.

When I attempt to use simple formulas on the displayed autofiltered results,
Excel includes cells hidden by the search. How do I get results on the
displayed cells only.

Use Subtotal when working on filtered ranges, there's a full description in
Help.
