Linking Cells, Incorrect Result
I am trying to create a link to a cell with a formula. When I try this the
result in the destination cell is zero even though there is a value in the cell I am linking to. I get the same result whether trying to creating a link in the same worksheet or different workbook. There are other cells in that same worksheet that I have been successful in this task. It seems that the cells I am having a problem linking to have links to the same worksheet. I've checked the formulas in that worksheet and all seems to be fine. I have an earlier version of the same workbook and do not have this problem. I did have a similar problem in this same workbook and found it was caused by a formula in the cell of one of the worksheets. For some reason Excel did not like this formula and I ended up 'hard-keying' the data for these cells. After I did this, I know longer had problems linking data. I don't know if this makes a difference but the workbook is quite large. I would appreciate any insight on this problem that is available. Thanks, Susan |

If we could see your formula, it would be easier to comment
