sheet protection
Is there a way to turn off protection without the password?
Or to create a copy that is not password protected? |
sheet protection
Not without the password.
If the sheet protection was placed on with "allow users to select unlocked and locked cells" you could copy the cells to a new worksheet. Otherwise see John McGimpsey's site. http://www.mcgimpsey.com/excel/removepwords.html Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Tue, 8 Apr 2008 10:55:02 -0700, Pa Maher wrote: Is there a way to turn off protection without the password?
