sheet protection

Is there a way to turn off protection without the password?
Or to create a copy that is not password protected?

sheet protection

Not without the password.

If the sheet protection was placed on with "allow users to select unlocked and
locked cells" you could copy the cells to a new worksheet.

Otherwise see John McGimpsey's site.
