Formulas in a cell
I have a spreadsheet where i have simple adding and subtracting formulas but
when i enter any value on the cells the formula doesnt calculate it, i have to double click the the cell with the formula in order for it to calculate it. Any help on how to get rid of that? ex A1=5 A2=3 A3 = SUM(A1,A2) bUT I HAVE TO DOUBLE CLICK A3 IN ORDER FOR THE FORMULA TO CALCULATE THE SUM OF A1 AND A2 |

Most times setting the calculation mode to "Automatic" looks after that.
ToolsOptionsCalculation Now you're going to ask how it got turned to "manual" The first workbook opened in a session of Excel governs the calc mode setting for all subsequent workbooks opened in same session. Good chance that is what happened.
