Stop named ranges from copying into other workbooks
When I move sheets from one workbook to another, I'm having issues with all
the named ranges associated with the source workbook copying into the destination workbook. After I close the source workbook, then go to the name manager, I have a ton of #REF errors. It's not a huge deal - it's more of an annoyance than anything - but I'd like to know if there's a fix to this. I'm using Excel 2007 - don't know if that makes a difference. Thanks! |

I don't use 2007, but in 2003, you can do one of two things:
1) hold down Ctrl key, click on the sheet tab with the mouse, and drag to the new workbook 2) right-click on the tab, move or copy, to book, create a copy Regards, Ryan--- -- RyGuy "Mike" wrote: When I move sheets from one workbook to another, I'm having issues with all the named ranges associated with the source workbook copying into the destination workbook.
