Getting Data from Closed Workbooks
I have formulas that link to other workbooks, which works fine when
they are open. But if they are closed it says #VALUE! ... as soon as i open the file it updates. Is there anyway i can get this to update without opening the file, to prevent me having to open the files that they are referring to every time?? Thanks if you can help. |

Jim Rech posted a registry tweak: http://groups.google.com/groups?thre...GP11.phx .gbl Each recipient would have to make this same change. Also a registry tweak isnt viable at the moment im afraid, its at work on the system with shared computers, unfortunately. Thanks for looking though, maybe i can this Update Links thing to work. Either that or i will just have to accept that i need to open all the files?? |
