Default Is there a way to make a ratio alterable?

Whenever I change the first component of an established ratio of 50:1, first
a yellow box pops up that reminds me the ratio is supposed to be 50:1. Then,
when I change the second component, a gray box marked 'over implementing'
pops up and asks me if I want to continue. How do I turn these off? Thanks!
