Repeat rows on top - in worksheet - not printing!

How do I repeat my column headings so that they are visible when I scroll
down my worksheet? I know how to set this up for printing (page
setupsheetrepeat rows on top), but how do you get them to show up in your
worksheet?

Thank you very much for your help.

One way - say, if your headings are from A1:F1 and A1:A50, click on B2 click
on Window freeze panes.

Thanks.

You can freeze the headings at the top of the screen, so that as you scroll
down they are always visible. To do this, first position your cursor in the
first cell below the area that the want to freeze - often this will be in A2
if your headings are on row 1. Then click on Window | Freeze Panes.

Press <Page Down a few times to see the effect.

If you also want to freeze the left hand column (where you might have some
labels), then you can position your cursor in B2 before doing Window|Freeze
Panes.

Hope this helps.
