display time in 12 hour format
i am working on a schedule for staff (office 2007) and i only have one issue
left. can i enter the time a 24 hour format and have it display in a 12 hour format. not everyone understands the 24 hour clock, or they just do not wan to learn it. ex. start time in A1 is 8:00 (8:00 AM,) it shows as 8:00 end time in B1 is 16:00 (4:00 PM,) but it shows just 4:00 i have the calculations on totalling the time and everything else, just need to show the time in the 12 hour format. thank you, jat |
display time in 12 hour format
in stead of formatting your cell as hh:mm, go up two options, to hh:mmAM/PM,
and that should do the trick -- Hth Kassie Kasselman Change xxx to hotmail "jatman" wrote: i am working on a schedule for staff (office 2007) and i only have one issue left. can i enter the time a 24 hour format and have it display in a 12 hour format. not everyone understands the 24 hour clock, or they just do not wan to learn it. ex. start time in A1 is 8:00 (8:00 AM,) it shows as 8:00 end time in B1 is 16:00 (4:00 PM,) but it shows just 4:00 i have the calculations on totalling the time and everything else, just need to show the time in the 12 hour format. thank you, jat |
