Why are the tools in the Data tab unavailable?
 

I am working in a spreadsheet in 2007 and all of the features in the data tab
have become unavailable. I need to use the What If feature. What can I do
to turn these features back on.

Why are the tools in the Data tab unavailable?
 

Hi

If the sheet is protected, What IfData Table becomes unavailable.
If Excel OptionsAddinsAnalysis Toolpak is disabled, then Data Analysis is
unavailable
Other than this, I always see the the DataData Tools options available.

Thanks so much for the reply. Either of those options are the solution. The
workbook or worksheet is not proetected and the addins are all added. As a
matter of fact, the addins are availalbe, but none of the other tools on that
tab are. The "Get External Data", "Connections", "Sort and Filter", "Data
Tools", and "Outline" tools are all greyed out.

I can't figure this one out!
