protection of your worksheet
 

i need to protect my worksheet from edit.... I have two worksheets. one has
the protection but the other won't protect.. Im highlighting the area and
then selecting protect and password.. but it is not working.. any suggestions

hi

after selecting the area, choose format / cells - choose the protection tab
and ensure LOCKED is ticked - then choose tools / protection / protect sheet

....note, worksheet/workbook protection in excel is easily broken
